    Zn + 4 HNO3 —-> Zn(NO3)2 + 2 NO2 (g) + 2 H2O
    oxidation numbers(left side): Zn: 0, H: +1, O: -2, N: +5,
    oxidation numbers (right side) : Zn: +2, N(in HNO3): +5, O: -2, N(in NO2): +4
    Zn: 0 => +2 (+2) | *1
    N: +5=> +4 (-1) | *2
    3Cu+ 8HNO3—-> 3Cu(NO3)2 + 2NO +4H2O
    oxidation numbers(left side): Cu: 0, H: +1, O: -2, N: +5
    oxidation numbers (right side) : Cu: +2, N(in HNO3): +5, O: -2, N(in NO): +2
    Cu: 0 => +2 (+2) |*3
    N: +5 => +2 (-3) |*2
