Is there any way to be able to tell what concentration a solution is, just from putting it into a spectrophotometer and getting and absorbtion reading? And if so, could you tell me how to calculate that mathematically? Thanks

There is a one liter solution containing Na2SO4. The amount of Na2SO4 in this one liter solution is unknown; thus, the solution concentration is unknown.

The answer for the formula is LiNO2 and the compound name is lithium nitrate. I’m not sure how they got either one of these answer and why the minus sign isn’t there anymore. Can someone please help me?
